The tension module is the main operational component of the EverTune bridge, comprising the saddle, the spring and lever, as well as the tuning screw.
If a saddle module is not functioning (most often caused by overtightening the tuning screw, resulting in a warped, stripped or broken screw), it needs to be replaced. Many players, however, choose to replace saddle modules in order to accommodate various tunings and string gauges that require higher or lower tension.
