Le Manche de Telecaster® Channel-Bound est fabriqué dans la même usine américaine où sont réalisés nos instruments. Il combine une esthétique particulièrement élégante à un toucher tout en douceur. La touche "channel-bound" est une innovation inédite chez Fender. Elle est directement incrustée dans le manche, ce qui élimine les jointures latérales tout en offrant un style très soigné et un toucher exceptionnel. La touche rapportée en palissandre, au radius compensé de 9,5”-14” (241 mm - 355,6 mm), est plus arrondie près du sillet de tête afin de faciliter le jeu en accords, tandis que le radius plus plat dans les aigus permet d’effectuer des bendings généreux sans friser. Les agréables bords de touche arrondis et le profil de manche ”Modern C” conviennent parfaitement à tous les styles de jeu. Ce manche de rechange est compatible avec les modèles Fender ou Squier® by Fender. Les manches de rechange Fender n’ont jamais été fixés aux corps des instruments, les gorges du sillet de tête doivent donc être taillées par du personnel qualifié. Des procédures d’installation supplémentaires peuvent être nécessaires, telles que le frettage, l’insertion du manche dans la cavité et d’autres étapes de configuration de l’instrument.
